Chelsea coach Avram Grant believes his side are closing in on both the Premier League title and the Champions League.
"It is a big opportunity to do it," he said ahead of Tuesday's quarter-final, second leg with Fenerbahce at Stamford Bridge, although his side trail 2-1.
"We've spoken with the players and we know that it will not be easy.
"All this season has been very hard, with many difficulties, but having got to this stage, we want to do our best to use this opportunity."
Chelsea lost the first leg at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium in Istanbul, despite dominating for the first hour.
"We lost the opening game even though we were much better than Fenerbahce but the players want, like everyone at the club, to be in the semi-final," added Grant.
"The first match was one of our good performances with the worst result."
The Israeli's preparations for the crucial second leg have been hampered by goalkeeper Petr Cech's facial injury after an accidental collision with team-mate Tal Ben-Haim in training on Monday.
The Czech international - who has missed the last nine games with an ankle injury - required 50 stitches to his lip and chin, as well as plastic surgery to prevent long-term damage.
Despite the untimely setback, midfielder Michael Ballack believes Chelsea have the class and confidence to advance into the last four of Europe's leading club competition.
"At Fenerbahce, It was our fault that we lost," said the Germany international. "When we play at our best, we can win any competition but we have to show this.
"That will be our motivation in the second leg.
"Fenerbahce have never been in the quarter-final before and they have nothing to lose.
"That makes them dangerous. If you are the favourites, you always have something to lose but we can deal with it."
